About the Family Sponsorship: Become a Lasting Friend to a Family
Family sponsorship goes beyond one-off help: it is a way to build a regular and lasting heartfelt bond with a family in need.
With Austria Yetim Eli's sponsored family project, you take on the basic needs of a selected family in Türkiye for 60 € per month.
How does the sponsored family project work?
- A family in need is selected.
- Your support is delivered to this family on a regular basis.
- You are kept informed about the family's situation.
Instead of worrying how to make it to the end of the month, the family knows it has a strong friend behind it.
Family sponsorship amounts

Example: a one-year family sponsorship from Vienna
A family living in Vienna wants to be a sponsor family for a family in Türkiye for one year.
They select the Yearly option in the form: 12 × 60 € = 720 €.
They pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EPS or PayPal, receive a thank-you by e-mail and, once the payment is confirmed, a donation receipt.
Why a sponsored family?
The greatest hardship for a family facing economic difficulties is often uncertainty: how will next month's rent, groceries and school costs be covered?
Regular support reduces this uncertainty. The family can more easily plan to keep the children in school and meet their basic needs.
For people of Turkish origin living in Austria, the sponsored family project is also a way to keep their bond with Türkiye alive through a concrete good deed.
If you would like to donate on behalf of an elder in your family or your deceased loved ones, you can write the name in the note field at the payment step.
Can Zakat be given to a sponsored family?
Since the families supported are in need, you can also donate with the intention of Zakat.

Sponsored family or orphan sponsorship?
A sponsored family contributes to the basic needs of an entire household.
