About the Winter Clothing Donation: Protect Children in Regions in Need from the Cold
A winter clothing donation is the first protection against the cold for children who have to get through the winter in thin clothes.
With your donation for regions in need, you can provide a child with a coat, boots, a scarf and warm winter clothing.
Why is winter clothing vital?
Children living in tents or unheated homes are more vulnerable to illness in the winter months.
A warm coat and dry shoes make it easier for a child to go to school and stay healthy.
- The winter kits are chosen according to the region's climate.
- We aim to distribute them before winter sets in.
- The donation unit is one child: 1 donation = a winter kit for 1 child.
Winter clothing donation prices
| Region | Per child |
|---|---|
| General (regions of need) | 40 € |
| Palestine | 60 € |
Example calculation: winter clothing for a family with two children plus one blanket: 2 × 40 € + 20 € (Afghanistan blanket) = 100 €.
