Who is waiting for Qurbani in Lebanon?

Relative to its population, Lebanon is among the countries hosting the most refugees in the world.

A severe economic crisis has driven up prices and eroded the purchasing power of both refugees and poor local families.

For families living in the camps, meat has become a food that no longer fits their budget. Qurbani meat fills this gap at Eid.

The Qurbani process step by step

• Donation: In the form above, the type of Qurbani, the quantity and on whose behalf it is to be performed are entered.
• Slaughter: The Qurbani is performed under your proxy and in accordance with Islamic rules.
• Distribution: The meat is shared among families with orphans in the camps and the neediest households.
• Updates: The slaughter video arrives by SMS, the donation receipt by e-mail.

Example: an Aqiqah Qurbani from Vienna

A family living in Vienna wants to have an Aqiqah Qurbani performed for their newborn child.

One Qurbani: 1 × 175 € = 175 €. In the form, “Aqiqah” is selected as the type and the name on whose behalf the Qurbani is performed is entered.

Setting a table at which these families can host guests at Eid and offer their children a hot meal brings the sharing spirit of Qurbani to life.

Wherever possible, the meat is distributed on the days of Eid so that families can truly celebrate Eid.

When to donate

The eve of Eid is 15 May 2027. To ensure your Qurbani is included in the organisation, we recommend donating a few days in advance.
